The purpose and overall mission of Stage Left Theatre is to make theater arts a safe and accepting place for all 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade players at Walker & Buford School while making it accessible to any student who wants to participate; to enable young people to gain an appreciation for the arts, and to increase self-confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of responsibility by providing an opportunity for children to participate in dramatic activities and performances.  We engage this mission through participating in workshops, taking field trips, putting on productions, appreciating excellence in theatre, and by supporting and investing in each other through our goals:
